In a mere 53 days I will be stepping on a plane for Thailand.
Let me stop right there for a second and let that absorb: Thailand.
While a part of me doesn’t believe it’s actually happening, it is a fact. I’m going to Thailand for a year to teach English at the Phanomsarakham “Phanom Adun Wittaya” School.
I’m just a little excited.
Sorry, but “just a little excited” is likely the biggest understatement in the long storied history of understatements. I am ecstatic, terrified, jubilant, anxious, and MORE EXCITED THAN I HAVE POSSIBLY BEEN FOR ANYTHING IN MY LIFE! Here is where I’ll be keeping track of my new adventure and sharing stories and images from life on the opposite side of the world. I’ll document the highs and the lows of my experience being a teacher, the marvelous travel I’ll plan on taking advantage of, and offer a glimpse of the day to day life of an American expat in Thailand. Sit back, relax (someone’s got to relax, because I certainly won’t) and enjoy!
