Happy Fourth of July to all of my American readers!

I spent my independence day on a quest for pizza and rum, so I definitely can’t complain about my day.

I’ve been waiting for weeks to share the following.  To preface, my M4s (sophmores) have been studying describing appearance so I put together a homework assignment.  In one portion they had to describe two of their own family members, but in the other part I wrote a description of my parents, had the students produce a drawing  based on the picture and didn’t tell them that Meg and Bill are real people.

The results were spectacular:

Another amazing drawing unaccompanied by the rest of the assignment. Ah, well.

This one raises so many questions. For example: who is that little guy? Why is Biil wearing nothing but Superman undies? Why does he have a moustache?

While this drawing is super cool, the student didn’t actually do the other part of the assignment. 1/5, sadly.

Sometimes the students are just too talented I can’t handle it.
